Stampin’ Up! Has always set an amazing example to it’s independent demonstrators, but also to companies in general. Here are a selection of some of the highlights of their last 5 years in Australia, where Stampin’ Up! Have truly demonstrated their commitment as a company to make a difference. One of the many reasons, I love being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

2011

Raised $11,862 AUD from stamp sales for the Australian Flood Appeal, which was donated to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal on behalf of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and customers in Australia and New Zealand.

2010

Worldwide, demonstrators sold 13,587 of the stamp sets that were set aside for Haitian relief. From each of those sales, Stampin′ Up! will donate $2 to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. That’s over $27,000 (US) donated to people who desperately need your help.

2009

In mid-February, we launched the Bushfire Appeal in response to the tragedy that affected so many lives in Victoria and across Australia. We’re pleased to announce that with the sales of the Bushfire Appeal sets, our final donation amount to the Australian Red Cross Bushfires 2009 Appeal will be $77,889.63!

2007

Dave Abbott, Stampin’ Up!’s Australia general manager, passed away in October 2007, from hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a rare blood disease. In Dave’s honour, Stampin’ Up! set up a fund to help his family through this difficult time. During the month of November, they released the ‘All in the Family’ stamp set for sale in all international markets. All proceeds from the sale of this set during that time directly benefited Dave’s wife and three children. During November, they sold 7,538 ‘All in the Family’ stamp sets worldwide to benefit Dave Abbott’s family.
